it's a pleasure to welcome back EQS Ensemble with the minialbum 'Ghost of Trakl'.

The 3-track suite aims to provide a musical reflection inspired by the poetry of Georg Trakl.

As the gloomy character of Trakl's poems unfold, one also senses a constant yet hopeless longing for redemption - behind every corner of each beautiful sentence, there’s a sinister ominousness. Despite the eternally underlying darkness, it’s not difficult to grasp the power of fascination, that Trakl’s poetry provide for his readers, and it is these qualities that EQS Ensemble humbly but honestly try to reflect in the music.
